DESCRIPTION:
Benromach 1977 Heritage Vintage Single Cask No. 1269 0.7 liters 49.6% vol.
The almost 40-year-old Benromach 1977 Heritage Vintage Single Cask No. 1269 is an extremely rare single malt Scotch whiskey that was distilled in 1977 by the Scottish distillery Benromach from Speyside and spent its entire maturation period in the refill American hogshead with the number 1269. When it was bottled, the exquisite Scotch whiskey was bottled at cask strength with 49.6% ABV and without the addition of colorants or chill filtration. The single cask bottling, limited to 225 bottles, is characterized by its multifaceted aromas of citrus fruits and roasted oak with notes of honey. On the palate, the Speyside whiskey is soft and sweet with notes of banana and tobacco with a slightly peppery touch. Its finish is long with hints of fresh menthol.
Benromach 1977 Heritage Vintage Single Cask No. 1269 - the strictly limited release with only 225 bottles
The Benromach 1977 Heritage Vintage Single Cask No. 1269 belongs to Benromach's strictly limited heritage range, which is released as a single cask bottling and is therefore only available in small quantities.
